” After five years of training and ?, Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) DID have sex with Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) in the Bones season finale - and now she’s in the family way.
Meanwhile, Emily is expecting her first child with actor hubby David Hornsby, which means her real life baby bump will be showing as the FOX drama resumes filming this month.
When the brunette beauty told producers about her pregnancy after the sixth season stopped in April, they decided that Booth and Brennan should finally become a full-fledged couple.
“It was not a dream” this time around, says executive producer Stephen Nathan, referring to the steamy scene two years ago when Booth dreamed about being married to Bones and making love to her.
“They’re having a baby. She’s pregnant with his child. Emily being pregnant certainly figures into it to an extent, but we were leaning toward this independently of that.”
But Nathan says that although the couple can now finally be open with their feelings with each other, they will still be fighting like cats and dogs.
“Brennan is not a fan of marriage while Booth has always wanted to get married,” he says. “These issues still remain. The tension that has existed in their relationship up to this point will continue.”
After years of will they or won’t they get together, the show will now focus on whether they will or won’t walk down the aisle.
Although they will not be tying the knot next season, INSIDERS SAY THAT PRODUCERS PLAN TO HAVE A SPECTACULAR WEDDING FOR THE STAR-CROSSED PAIR IN THE SHOW’S FINAL EPISODE WHEN THE DRAMA FINALLY RUNS ITS COURSE.
“THE PRODUCERS ARE HOPING FOR TWO MORE SEASONS,” says a source.
“IN THE END, BOOTH AND BRENNAN WILL BE WALKING DOWN THE AISLE WITH THEIR BEAUTIFUL CHILD AS THE RING-BEARER.”This has the transcript (it’s hard to read). #Bones
